SCS Holiday Camps are designed to give children of all abilities as much enjoyment as possible , who are aged between four to twelve years old.

SCS holiday Courses are based around North Essex and take place throughout the school holidays.

SCS Coaching activities are packed with lots of fun including Multi Sport Games, Lunch Time Games (which include Britain’s Got Talent), Tournaments, Individual Competitions I.e. Penalty shootouts.

These activities are lead by our team of inspiring coaching staff, all of whom have undergone rigorous training to ensure every child is safe, happy and well looked after. Each child that attends the Holiday Camp will be included in all activities, allowing the child to feel engaged and part of the team.

At the end of each Holiday course we invite the parents to come along to our awards ceremony, where they can take pictures of their child alongside their favourite coach. Individual prizes are given out for competition winners in our many varied categories.

Camps start 10am until 3pm, boys and girls are welcome. All children attending the Holiday Courses are requested to bring a packed lunch and drinks for the whole day. The Holiday Courses cost £20 per day per child.

We are proud to be working in partnership with Active Essex, Essex County Council & the Department for Education to provide the holiday activity and food programme at various venues across the country during the school holidays

What is HAF
The holiday, Activities and Food programme is a government funded scheme, that aims to provide childcare and nutritional meals to school aged children from disadvantaged families during the school holidays.

Children will be provided with a nutritious meal, snacks throughout the day, the chance to try a wide range of sporting activities and a chance to enjoy some arts and crafts with the SCS staff.

As a trusted delivery partner, Sports Coaching Specialists ltd will be offering FREE spaces to children aged between 5 – 12 that meets the scheme’s criteria.

Is my child eligible for a free/funded space at one of SCS HAF camps
To be eligible for a free /funded space on one of our HAF camps children must meet one or more of the following criterias.

– Eligible for free school meals (in which case parents should have received a WONDE code to use from their child’s school when booking)

– From low income, working families who would benefit from this support.

– We are also able to extend this support to children and young people who may be vulnerable to inactivity or social isolation,on a case by case basis please contact us at scssportsteam@gmail.com to discuss if this is an option.

How to book
To secure your child’s free space, please find us using the holiday activities app. you will receive a text or email from the holiday activities team once your school has provided your WONDE code. If you are eligible for free school meals and haven’t received your WONDE code, please speak to your school to get access to this.
